George Tamer oversees a team that works to help independent advisors achieve their business goals by helping them implement industry best practices including marketing and business development, workflow processes, and technology usage.

Tamer joined the company in 1996, where he has held various management positions in online product development and client service. Tamer and his team have worked with many advisors to help improve productivity and become more efficient through the use of TD Ameritrade's technology platform.

He graduated with a BA in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, and holds an MBA in Marketing from Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business. Tamer is currently completing the Securities Industry Institute program, sponsored by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, at the Wharton School of Business.
