Our investing roots run deep.
On May 1, 1975 the SEC banned the practice of fixed brokerage commissions, and four entrepreneurs in Omaha, Nebraska were among the first to do something no one on Wall Street thought would happen. They broke ranks and offered discounted brokerage commissions to individual investors.
Make it accessible. Make it understandable. Make it valuable. That’s what we wanted to do in 1975, and that’s what we’re doing today – pushing the limits of what is possible for today’s investors more than 40 years later.
From our earliest beginnings to recent developments,
we are always moving forward.
